Eskdale was built in 1907 and is typical of the high-set wooden houses traditionally built in Queensland. Located in the West End - a suburb that was the premier address of its day and is now Brisbane's most cosmopolitan and interesting place to live. Just 2km by bus to Brisbane CBD and Brisbane's major tourist attraction, the Southbank Parklands, are just 1km away. Here you can walk along the river promenade, swim in the artificial lagoon, eat at the specialist restaurants, see a film or take a catamaran cruise on the river.
